Day Fifteen: Assigned Readings

Before getting in to today's links, I'd just like to point out that adspace is available for purchase on Click on the "Advertise with us" image to the right for details.

Now that business is out of the way, onto the electoral goodness!

The CBC covers the platform of the New Brunswick Greens. Among other things, they want to end the media concentration in New Brunswick and increase corporate taxes. But, most of all, they want to tell you that the NB Greens is People!

The Telegraph-Journal reports on Shawn Graham's plans for the province's youth. In short, less student debt and more daycare spaces. Well, if you're going to coddle them...

They also have a list of highlights from the campaign so far.

And The Daily Gleaner gives you an opportunity to glean from their article a list of yesterday's campaign promises.

  1. I think you need to update this (perhaps that is in the works).

    As of yesterday:

    PC - 45% (up from 41%)
    Lib - 42% (steady)
    NDP - 8% (down from 11%)

The trending is looking like the opposition vote is leaving the NDP and heading to the Tories.

This is all in the margin of error but the trend suggest positive PC gains across the province.
